It all started back in my Girl Scout days, where I mastered everything from sewing to making fire (because you never know when you’ll need a perfectly hemmed pair of pants or a blazing campfire!). The real sparks flew when we visited nursing homes, bringing smiles to faces that hadn’t seen visitors in ages, and cleaning up Philly streets, where every discarded item seemed to have a story.
